Tonight, Serena Williams will be in New York as the New York Sportimes face the Washington Kastles in World TeamTennis action at Sportime Stadium at Randall’s Island at 7:00 p.m.

The Sportimes will seek to avenge a tough loss to the Kastles last night at SEFCU Arena at the University of Albany, when the Sportimes fell to the Kastles 21-20, as the match came down to a super tie-breaker to determine the winner. The Sportimes will be led into battle by former world number one-ranked Martina Hingis. In addition to seeking revenge for last night’s defeat, the Sportimes will also be looking to snap the Kastles undefeated record on the 2011 season, as Washington currently stands at 12-0 entering play tonight to lead the Eastern Division. The Sportimes are currently in second place.

Long Island Tennis Magazine will be on-hand tonight at Sportime Stadium, distributing free magazines to all in attendance. Come join us tonight and take advantage of a perfect opportunity to see top-notch professional tennis in an intimate atmosphere.
