On Saturday, Jan. 12 for $60 per team, join us at Roosevelt Island Racquet Club’s 2nd Annual Advantage Tennis Clubs & USPTA Parent/Child Doubles Tournament from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.! Last year, there were seven teams competing for a spot in a semifinal showdown that resulted in Advantage’s own Junior Development Director Xavier Luna and his son Javier Luna winning it in a close final! This year, we anticipate eight to10 parent/child teams. Any age, or combination of parent and child teams will be recognized at this family oriented fun event.

With at least one court dedicated to fun games organized by one of our professional staff, everyone keeps hitting, unless you want to take a break and munch on some appetizers. Tennis starts at 6:00 p.m., and ends around 9:00 p.m. A light dinner will be served from 8:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. and families can decide whether to continue playing tennis, or eat dinner. Prizes will be awarded to the semifinalist, finalist, and the winners. Other prizes will be awarded to winners from the Games court.

E-mail Jason Speirs, RIRC Director of Tennis, at jspeirs@rirctennis.com if you want to join in on all this fun, food and family bonding!!
