Recently named USTA Member Organization of the Year, Centercourt Athletic Club of Chatham has joined forces with Antigua Performance Apparel as it prepares for its 6th Annual Men's Open Tennis Tournament, set to begin Saturday, July 12. As part of the agreement, the tournament will officially be called the "Antigua Apparel Men's $5,000 Open at Centercourt Chatham."

"Leading clubs and sports leagues partner with Antigua for good reason—they are extremely customer-focused and have an efficient operation, especially when it comes to embroidered apparel," said Jeff Rothstein, executive regional director of Junior Tennis Development for Centercourt."We're glad to have Antigua on board for this event, and we hope to continue working with them in the future."

Featuring 20 courts, Centercourt Athletic Club of Chatham is a private club whose innovative tennis programming earned it the prestigious national USTA Member Organization of the Year honor this year. The Men's Open tournament is the largest tennis draw of its kind in the New York/New Jersey area, and has featured NCAA champions and Davis Cup players as winners in the past. The tournament has an Open Division, a Doubles Division, and an Over 45 Singles Division.

"Centercourt is a nationally-recognized club with an active membership that takes its tennis seriously," said Ron McPherson, president and CEO of Antigua Group. "We're now in our third year of offering a tennis line, and we want to gain as much visibility for our product as possible. Sponsoring this prestigious tournament  will help us with that goal."
