Fifteen-year old CiCi Bellis of Atherton, Calif. won the USTA Girls 18s National Championship to earn a main draw wild card into the U.S. Open, defeating 16-year old Tornado Alicia Black of Boca Raton, Fla., 6-3, 6-1, at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego.

Bellis, the number two-ranked junior in the world, is the youngest USTA Girls 18s national champion since Lindsay Davenport also won it at 15 years of age in 1991.

Last year, USTA Girls 18s national champion Sachia Vickery advanced to the second round of the U.S. Open, as did Christina McHale in 2009.
