Tottenville Boys Bounce Back, Lab Museum Girls Remain Perfect

The Tottenville Pirates rebounded from a tough loss to McKee/Staten Island Tech last week by beating New Dorp 5-0 to improve to 6-1 on the season.

Philip Belmatch led the way for the Pirates, securing a 10-4 win at first singles over New Dorp’s Benjamin Borshchevsky.

Tottenville will take on CSIHS/McCown in its next contest, while New Dorp will travel to conference leaders McKee/Staten Island Tech.

The girls from Lam Museum United kept their undefeated season alive, knocking off William C. Bryant 4-1 on Thursday afternoon.

The Gators came back from a loss at first singles to win the final four matches of the contest. The clinching win came at first doubles as Arielle Klein & Sophia Fishman defeated Joselyne Carrasco & Kiara Robinson 10-3.

Lab Museum will play Robert Wagner at home next, while William C. Bryant will host Newcomers.
