Switzerland’s Belinda Bencic announced on Tuesday that she is withdrawing from next week’s French Open due to a back injury she has been dealing with since March.

American Lauren Davis will replace Bencic in the draw. The eighth-ranked Swiss has not won a match since beating Davis at Indian Wells two months in a row.

Also announcing their withdrawal was former world number one Caroline Wozniacki, who will miss Roland Garros with an ankle injury, something that has nagged her for the last few months. Wozniacki hasn’t played a match since losing in the second-round at the Miami Open in March.

The French Open draw will be announced on Friday. The qualifying tournament for Roland Garros began this week.
