The Immortals

Roger Federer won the BNP Paribas Open last week after a recent six-month injury layoff. At the ripe age of 35, he is rewriting the record books, seemingly defying the laws of physics and human biology. With both Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray struggling, it's reasonable to pencil Roger in as an early Wimbledon favorite with the 30-year-old and also revitalized Rafael Nadal as an early French Open favorite. The last time Rafa won Roland Garros and Roger won The All-England Championships in the same year was 2012.

I really believe that history will recognize today as a "Golden Era” of men's tennis, and even more special is the idea that it is led by champions entering what has traditionally been the “Golden Age” of their careers.
