5. The Conspiracy Theories
The Internet was abuzz that "the fix was in" when the Williams Sisters met in a quarterfinals match and the semifinals were determined by the "Drake Conspiracy." No comment here other than to say that I wish I had a dime for every time a heard it said.
4. The Italians
No one could have predicted that the finals would be between close friends Flavia Pennetta and Roberta Vinci. While it lacked the high drama of Serena playing for a Calendar Slam, it was a match that demonstrated that guts, guile and hustle still matter.
3. Roger
Roger Federer is the greatest of all time and he's playing great, but at 34 years of age, he does not match up to the speed and athleticism of Novak Djokovic.
