Townsend Harris Beats Forest Hills to Remain Unbeaten

The Townsend Harris Hawks improved to 2-0 on the season, rolling past Forest Hills 5-0 in a battle for Queens supremacy on Tuesday afternoon.

The Hawks were led by its singles play as it went through the three singles flights losing just two games. Maxim Prohorov beat Nicolas Caicedo 10-0 at first singles, Mitchell Mu beat Jonathan Kazakov 10-0 at second singles, while Daniel Corona picked up a 10-2 victory over Daniel Rusin 10-2 at third singles.

The doubles flights did its part for Townsend Harris as well, losing just two games in first and second doubles combined to complete the sweep.
