City Parks Foundation, Murphy Jensen to Host Free Tennis Clinic

Throughout August, the City Parks Foundation has been hosting free community tennis events at multiple locations throughout New York City. That continues into next week when it will host a Tennis Clinic with Murphy Jensen sponsored by LACOSTE at the Central Park Tennis Courts, located at W. 96th Street and Central Park West, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25.

The clinic is available to players of all ages and abilities, and all New Yorkers are encourages to come out with their racket and tennis sneakers to learn from a former Grand Slam Champion.

Following that, on Tuesday, August 27, Murphy and his brother Luke, will be honored, in addition to USTA Eastern Executive Director and CEO Jenny Schnitzer, with the Vitas Gerulatis Community Service Award at the CityParks Tennis Benefit.
